Benvenuti alla primavera!
Thus far spring quarter we've experienced Pasqua italiana, il Giorno della donna, la Liberazione, ed il primo maggio. Not to mention a fabulous principessa-themed shindig inspired by our very own princess Natalie. It's true: we're all princesses.
But the fun isn't over yet! The divertimento will only go on from here, so join us in the coming weeks for some more food, fun, and politics all'italiana.
Here's our schedule for the rest of spring quarter.
giovedi', il 7 maggio: Movie night! Location and movie TBA.
giovedi', il 14 maggio: Special guest lecture by Dr. Tom Carpenter. Baker 227 at 7pm. Last year Dr. Carpenter gave a fascinating presentation on tombaroli- Etruscan tomb robbers. This year's presentation is guaranteed to be just as captivating.
giovedi', il 21 maggio: DESSERT NIGHT! We'll have a potluck of fantastic Italian desserts, each with its own taste, origin, and history. Think about it: Dessert. Italian. Need I say more?
giovedi', il 28 maggio: Discoteca italiana: Italian discotech culture and nightlife. Planning a trip to Italy? Might want to come to this meeting for info about goin' out in Italia.
