Fall Quarter

Ciao a tutti! Sorry there's been so much dust collecting on this blog... what a quarter it has been! Though fall quarter has seemed hectic and drawn out, it has gone by so quickly! It's hard to believe we're already in week 10, but looking back on it, CIAO has had a lot of fun this quarter.
From washed-up 80's pop stars to Celebrity Night, to a guest speaker on the 1970's and a field trip to Columbus (and, accidentally, Dayton), we sure have eaten and learned a lot (and ate a lot).
We have many new faces this quarter and the CIAO Executive Board would like to thank everyone who has spent time with us these past several weeks, and thus contributed to a greater understanding and appreciation of the Italian culture.
Winter quarter will be even better! CIAO has some great stuff planned, including our largest event of the year, Carnivale.
Whether you've only toyed with the idea of coming to CIAO or you've made it to every single meeting, there's guaranteed to be more Italian culture, language, food, and fun throughout the year.
Italians know how to party. (and eat)
Check out the photos of all the fun we've had.

Italian Dessert Night! Thursday, November 6, 2008

A fantastic night of Italian delicacies! We had treats from all over Italy, including salame di cioccolato, cannoli, tegoline alle mandorle, and affagato! All homemade by CIAO members.

Lot's of fun to be had, lots of food to be eaten.

Really more food.

Whoever said there's no culture in Ohio?
